In an effort to raise awareness regarding elder abuse and mandatory reporting, we are producing a series of posters for service providers and advocates to post in their facilities/agencies or circulate among their colleagues. Please feel free to download and print the attached posters and use as you see fit.

Each year in Maine, approximately 14,000 seniors are abused (based on 5% of the population 60 years of age and older). It is projected that in five years this number will double. This does not include financial abuse or neglect.
