Martha's Cottage
Renovations are complete and Martha's Cottage is now a safe haven for elder victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.
Martha's Cottage is ready for occupancy! Named after a very brave woman, the home will provide a transitional home for 3 older individuals who are victims of abuse.

Each year in Maine, approximately 14,000 seniors are abused (based on 5% of the population 60 years of age and older). It is projected that in five years this number will double. This does not include financial abuse or neglect.
