Registration Open for Training in Long Term Care Facilities
The Elder Abuse Institute will host four Elder Abuse Prevention and Intervention Train-the-Trainer workshops for long term care facilities.
Through funds provided by the State of Maine, Office of Elder Services, EAIME will bring two experts from CARIE in Philadelphia to provide trainings in four locations across the state.

Currently almost 16% of Maine's population is 65 and older.
It is estimated that by 2030, that percentage will increase to 22%. About 60% of our elders are women.
