The National Center on Elder Abuse is a national resource center dedicated to the prevention of elder mistreatment.  As part of their public awareness initiative, NCEA produces and disseminates a monthly, electronic NCEA newsletter to highlight promising practices, emerging research and state and federal news.

The Elder Abuse Institute recently received news that the agency was awarded $570,000 over three years to develop transitional housing for elder victims of domestic violence, sexual assualt and stalking through the US DOJ Office on Violence Against Women.
